A handful of queer shows can, in no way, capture the breadth of queer experiences, but the more stories that are told by queer creatives, the more chances we have to see ourselves reflected on screen — and without compromise. A recent example that comes to mind? The A League of Their Own series on Amazon, which expands the scope of Penny Marshalls 1992 film of the same name.
